Desserts Etc. is hiring for a Bakery Supervisor who would aid in overseeing the daily baking operations, managing a team of talented bakers and cake decorators, and assist with customer service. This position will report to the Bakery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of day and weekend shifts; along with, flexibility of role-wise to accommodate business levels.
• Create and ensure all specialty orders meet Desserts Etc. standards and as customer requested
• Work with customers to place orders
• Adjust baking demands throughout the day to ensure product needs are met for the retail floor and for pre-orders.
• Responsible to hold all bakery employees accountable for producing the highest standards of product & cleanliness
• Ensure food safety by following and enforcing company cleaning and maintenance guidelines.
• Work with the Bakery Manager and other Bakery Supervisors to address business needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience managing in a food service-related position
• At least 1 year experience baking or cooking in a commercial setting
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain Servsafe certification upon starting the position.
• Computer experience with abilities to use basic functions in programs like email, Microsoft Word & Excel
