Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full time Coffee Shop Barista to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona . As a Food Service Cashier, you will accurately ring up merchandise and products in an efficient manner.

What will you do?

• Greet and provide menu information to guests while using suggestive selling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages in correct proportions, and follow proper sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in all inventory, opening, clean up and closing procedures.
• Process POS cash and credit sales and accurately count change. 
• Account for all transactions; maintain accurate cash count and balance bank at end of shift.

More about you

• Must be comfortable in working with food, cash handling and inventory; recent experience as a barista in a fast paced environment preferred. 
• Ability to communicate with guests and provide friendly customer service effectively while alone and with team.
• Requires basic math skills to to process transactions and maintain bank. 

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds. 
• Ability to stand the entire length of shift with frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching.
• Requires manual dexterity to repeatedly grasp and move items. 
• Exposure to and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces, and areas.
