We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for providing planning, direction, and supervision of construction projects, with a key focus on supporting the Facility Service Request process. The Estimator will deliver accurate and timely cost estimates and assist in forecasting project-related expenditures.

Primary Responsibilities :
  • Develop and prepare accurate cost estimates for construction and facility service projects.
  • Support the Facility Service Request process by ensuring timely and comprehensive cost analysis and projections.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine project requirements and estimate costs.
  • Monitor project progress and provide ongoing cost forecasting to support budget management.
  • Recommend cost-saving solutions and identify potential financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update historical cost data and construction pricing databases.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and client requirements.
Basic Qualifications
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field and 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience or additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in planning, directing, and supervising construction projects, including maintenance of structures and facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, schedule, and implement construction projects independently.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and the ability to produce, read, and interpret technical drawings.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to coach and review work of junior technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary construction teams and subcontractors across various project phases.
  • Working knowledge of contract management , including negotiation and administration of construction contracts.
  • Hands-on experience with risk management , quality control , and safety assurance practices in construction environments.
  • Experience conducting construction inspections and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with strategic and workforce planning in a construction or facilities management context.
  • Advanced experience using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
  • Broad understanding of related specialty areas such as mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
