Job Description

We're seeking a friendly and reliable laundry attendant to make sure our hotel guests are satisfied during their stay. We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member. Responsibilities include washing, folding linens, cleaning areas, and other duties assigned. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. • Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management
• Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
• Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations

Qualifications:

• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques
• 1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
